Each and every time I plan a Wedding, I always tell all my Brides and Grooms that the only way we can make a success of your special day is to take care of it as though it was my best friend’s wedding. Trust me … trust you … trust your Vendors. And that’s exactly what Jessica and Warren did. Not only were they the most remarkable couple I have ever met, they too have become very good friends. In fact, I can vouch for all the Wedding Vendors who agree with me when I say they are “Friends for Life”.
One of the most incredible highlights of their Wedding Day was a “surprise” performance by The U.C. Berkeley Octet. You see, Warren’s a HUGE fan of U.C. Berkeley, and Jessica kept this secret and collaborated with me throughout the entire wedding planning process. When it came to the reveal that evening, I took the mic and prefaced to give Warren an impression that Jessica and I have been busy spending a lot of time together planning the wedding without him, making it look like she and I were having an affair. You should have seen the jealous look on his face … he was so nervous, so worried, so confused. Seeing that, I couldn’t hold myself much longer from busting out laughing that I had to present him with the surprise. And boy … was he ever! The Octet came out and gave an A Capella performance to an astounding standing ovation. Warren – thanks again for being such a sport. Your reaction (and sign of relief) was priceless!!!
Humble, heartwarming, enthusiastic, fun and loving – these are all the key elements to a wonderful marriage. And for Jessica and Warren, they embody all of them. Congratulations again to both of you … we’re all so very happy to have been a part of your beautiful day. Here’s to a Honeymoon that will last forever!
